<image:caption>Evaluation of mechanisms which operate without significant plastic deformation when performing their intended function can be simulated for evaluation of stresses, impacts, and fatigue. Non-Linear/Dynamic Finite Element Analysis simulation software can be used for such studies, producing time-based resultant load and stress profiles. This may be applied to interacting machinery components, vehicles on fixed guideways, and cable dynamics.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Mechanical components and assemblies are analyzed for static and/or fatigue strength using in-CAD or dedicated finite element analysis programs, depending on the level of fidelity required. Failure criteria may be applied based on AISC, Eurocode, or FKM standards.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Our capabilities include Finite Element Analysis using simulation programs which account for changes in load or boundary conditions, or which may result in plastic deformation or tensile failure of the subject materials. For roadside safety equipment evaluations, certified vehicle models developed by the Center for Collision Safety and Analysis (CCSA) are used, comparing results to MASH standards for determination of design acceptability.</image:caption>
